Senator Cochran has been an advocate for Mississippi’s citizens since his first day in office. He knows that Mississippians want to have a place to raise their families and make investments in the community.

He effectively worked with both parties and both houses of Congress to pass the Homeowner Flood Insurance Relief Act of 2014 into law. He has supported rural housing programs administered by the Department of Agriculture which are valuable tools for rural families in need of affordable mortgage financing. His leadership on the Agriculture Committee led to the passage of the 2014 Farm Bill which extends and expands eligibility for participation and protects those already eligible for financing.

Senator Cochran is looking out for all the citizens of Mississippi and their families now and the next generation.
